RV RENTAL AGREEMENT   

DJ’S SPECIALTY RESORT & DJ’S SPORTS RENTALS, LLC:  RV RENTAL AGREEMENT:

Closure:  Please leave unit in a neat condition.  Dishes should be washed and things placed in the original location.  Unit should be swept out and tidied as much as possible.  Garbage should be removed and properly disposed of in dumpsters provided.  

Keys:  Doors should be locked and keys returned to DJ’S office by 12:00 pm check-out time or before.  If you leave before or after office hours, or if office is unattended, drop keys in the locked box by DJ’S office front door.

Deposits:  We may ask for cash or a signed credit card authorization up to the amount of $500.00 as a security deposit for your rental.  This will be processed at time of check-in.  Deposits will be cleared upon inventory inspection.  DJ'S will send check by mail within seven business days after rental completion for cash deposits, unless repairs require more time.

Damage/Loss/Cleaning Fees:  DJ’S will inspect and thoroughly clean and inventory RVs following each rental.  You will be held responsible for missing items or damage caused by yourself, your family, guests or visitors. Charges may be assessed for any weather related damages that could have been prevented by your action...i.e., closing the awning in case of strong winds or rain.  Any resulting charges will be deducted from your deposit, or processed as a charge against your credit card.  Fees will be assessed if necessary cleaning is beyond routine and customary, such as if carpets are excessively dirty.

No Smoking – No Pets:  Smoking outdoors only.  Please do not discard litter, including butts, on the ground. Any exception allowing non-shedding pets requires pre-authorization and is subject to additional fees and/or deposits.  Any sign of smoking indoors or pet residue will result in a significant charge, including but not limited to: carpet cleaning, fumigating, cleaning fees, and costs of nightly rentals lost during recovery.

Plumbing:  DJ’S RVs have fragile septic tank systems.  Please do not flush sanitary products, greasy kitchen waste or food particles, or any other foreign object down the system!   Only use the white RV toilet tissue like the kind that DJ’S provides.  Clogged plumbing may result in a fee.

Utilities:  DJ’S RVs are heated and have air conditioning.  Please adjust the temperature when you leave for the day to conserve energy costs.  Turn off lights and appliances.  Please keep doors and windows closed when using climate control. 

Grill/Stove:  If a grill is provided, or stove/oven used for grilling, please clean off after use and replace cover after it has cooled down.

Amenity guarantees:  If an appliance, air conditioner, etc, should happen to malfunction, we will make every reasonable effort to have it repaired in a timely manner.  We do not guarantee against unforeseen breakdowns, so a malfunction does NOT necessarily justify a refund or discount.   

Courtesy amenities such as coffee filters, toilet paper, soaps, and/or paper goods, etc. may be provided as a starter supply, but you should provide your own refills.   Bring your own extra supply, or other supplies may available for purchase from DJ’S office…feel free to ask.

Linen Service:  DJ’S offers an optional bedding/towel service for an additional charge. Any linens and towels provided should be left for us to do the laundering.  Daily maid service is not provided at our Specialty Resort.  Additional cleanings and linen changes may be available upon request during your visit for an additional service charge.

Park Stickers:  You do not need a state park entrance pass to park at DJ’S.  We are right across the highway from the state recreation area with a 6 mile bike trail,  playgrounds, lake and picnic area accesses, tennis & basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, etc.  You will need a sticker if you drive your vehicle into the park where entrance requirements are posted.

Courtesy when On-site:  We enjoy a quiet residential area in a resort setting.  We ask that you and all your visitors respect the privacy of our residents and operate your activities with a “Good Neighbor” policy.  Please keep noise and volumes down and refrain from loud activities outside your rented RV.  Parents are responsible for the actions and whereabouts of their children.  Please do not allow them to play on other peoples’ property.  Management reserves the right to enforce quiet hours.  If anyone is asked to leave, there will be no refund given. 

Courtesy Off-site:  We ask that our customers will cooperate with the rules of the park where they are staying.

 Acknowledgment of Risks: I understand and acknowledge that the activities, that I and those in my party, are about to engage in bear certain known risks and unanticipated risks which could result in injury, death or damage to ourselves, our property, DJ’S Sports Rentals property or to other third parties and their property.

Acknowledgment of Responsibility: Being aware that these activities entail risks of injury to ourselves and to third parties as a result of our actions, I agree to accept and assume all responsibility and risk for injury, death or damage to myself, those in my party, our property or DJ’S Sports Rentals property arising from our participation in these activities. I agree, covenant and promise to accept and assume all responsibility and risk for injury, death or damage to other third parties and their property arising from our participation in these activities. Our participation in these activities is purely voluntary and we elect to participate in spite of the risks.

Acknowledgment of Release: I hereby voluntarily release DJ’S Sports Rentals, its agents or employees, and all other persons or entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, actions, or rights of action, which are related directly or indirectly to or in any way connected with our participation in these activities and use of this equipment, including specifically but not limited to the negligent acts or omissions of DJ’S Sports Rentals, its agents or employees and all other persons or entities, for any and all injury, death and damage to myself and my party, to our property or to DJ’S Sports Rentals property. In signing this document I recognize that if anyone is hurt or any property is damaged while we are engaged in these activities and using this equipment, we voluntarily give up any right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against DJ’S Sports Rentals, its agents or employees.

Reservations:  Reservations may be arranged with a credit card, cash or check paid in advance.  The full rental amount will be charged as a deposit to secure your reservation.  Charge will be processed at the time of reservation, unless other details are pre-arranged.   In the unforeseen event that something should happen to prevent our RV from usability, we will issue a full refund of your deposit.  We reserve the right to cancel availability as necessary, and will notify you of any such action as soon as possible.

Cancellations:  Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to rental date are subject to a processing fee of 10% of the reservation total, minimum $15.00. For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to rental date, deposits are non-refundable, unless we are able to rent it out to someone else.  Only the above mentioned processing fee would then apply.   There will be no refunds for early departures.  

 Authorization:  By signing DJ’S rental agreement, you agree to authorize DJ’S to process charges to repair or replace any broken or missing inventory which occurred during your rental, to pay any additional rent for an extension of time beyond what you originally initiated and paid for, and/or to pay for any optional courtesy items purchased during your stay.

I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY DJ’S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.  I UNDERSTAND THAT DJ’S WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES, INJURY OR DAMAGES THAT I, OR MY PARTY, MAY SUSTAIN DURING OUR VISIT.  BY SIGNING BELOW, I VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT MY RESPONSIBILITY AND WILLINGLY RELEASE DJ’S FROM LIABILITY ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND ALL PARTIES IN MY GROUP.
